Directions
Car: From Milano, Firenze or Bologna (Autostrada A1): Take the exit that goes into the G.R.A. (Gran Raccordo Anulare, kind of Beltway) following the directions to Flaminia road. Then take the exit 5 (called Flaminia), and here towards the stadium (or also, Foro Italico).
Metro/bus: Metro line A (from Termini train station) following the directions to Ottaviano station and go down to the terminus one (the end of the line). Then take the bus line 32 Piazzale della Farnesina.
Tram: Alternatively from central Rome to Stadio Olimpico is to take Tram # 2 from Piazzale Flaminio. The tram stops are just outside Piazza del Popolo (through the grand archway and across the road) and around the corner from Flaminio Metro station. Stay on the tram until its terminus in Piazza Mancini, which is around fifteen minutes away (return to the same stop to take the waiting trams after concert). At this point you should be able to follow the crowds of fans flooding from the bus and tram stops towards the stadium. From the tram stop you cross the bus stop area heading left. Take the wide footpath heading through the edge of the small park towards the main road which runs along the river. Cross the bridge over the Tiber, and you’ll see the Olimpico in front of you. The stadium lies directly ahead, past the obelisk dedicated to Mussolini. You’ll be approaching from the south-eastern corner, by the Distinti Est. The Curva Sud is to your left and the Tribuna Tevere is to the right. There are stewards to help and advise.
